1. Where in the GTA did you grow up, and what high school did you attend?
I grew up in Woodbridge, Ontario spending the majority of my weekends at my cousins in North York. I split my secondary education at two high schools being Bill Crothers SS and Father Bressani Catholic HS.
2. What is your current profession?
Upon graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University, I then did an advanced post graduate program at George Brown College with the focus of Financial services and Marketing Management. I am currently working as Financial Service Representative in the GTA.
3. What is one important life lesson in your journey so far?
You learn the most about yourself, when you put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Comfort will kill you and it is important from a young age to make the uncomfortable comfortable. Growth and Success in life is directly proportional to the number of uncomfortable situations you are willing to put yourself in.
4. What does the Epiphany Initiative Foundation mean to you?
EIF is built upon the two pillars in life that are responsible for the person I am today. These two pillars of academics and athletics built on the foundation of community embodies change and opportunities for the next generation. To provide the community with a foundation that helps marginalized youth overcome their adversities while building on what makes them unique through the power of academics and athletics is a bridge to ample opportunities in life. If we could provide an opportunity for one child, it would mean the world as we all need that push in life and I know EIF will impact a community through the power of sports.
